BASF - Fleet Management System

 

Yangzi Petrochemical BASF Co., Ltd. is the result of the strong cooperation between two Fortune 500 companies, Sinopec and BASF. The company is located in Jiangbei New Materials Technology Park, Nanjing. This project is the logistics base of BASF Yangtze.

1. Customer's goal:

 

Monitor collisions and assign responsibility to individuals

 

Improve personnel efficiency

 

Enhance corporate image

2. Implementation of the project: The fleet management system project has been implemented since April 2019.

 

The first phase was completed in April 2019, providing 43 sets of forklift management systems;

 

The second phase was completed in October 2019, providing 38 sets of forklift management systems and pedestrian warning systems, including explosion-proof forklifts.

 

3. Benefits achieved:

 

(1) The phenomenon of driving vehicles without qualifications has been fully controlled;

 

(2) The safety inspection rate before starting the vehicle is 100%;

 

(3) Reduce collisions by 40%;

 

(4) Increase the operator's work time by one hour per shift;

 

(5) Reduce fleet maintenance costs by 33%;

 

(6) The number of forklifts in the fleet has decreased by 20%.
